year old Sameena receives a free cataract transplant

“Sameena
is the 5 year old daughter of Ali Hassan, the owner of a dairy farm.
|
From
birth she had a small white mark in her left eye which her parents ignored.
However when she was at primary school the mark became more noticeable
and her parents realised that it was growing.
Her grandmother had been successfully treated at a LRBT hospital, so
her family were aware of the free treatment and professional care provided
by LRBT.
Sameena’s parents took her to the Karachi hospital and they discovered
a cataract in her left eye (see photograph).
She was operated on successfully and her parents were thrilled with
the treatment provided.
Her father tells everyone that Sameena couldn’t have received better
treatment elsewhere in Pakistan.”
